SCVG
How SCVG came into existence
In September, 2007, a volunteer peer counselor of HIV prevention project of Save the Children, Magway initiated SCVG, with other interested volunteers. They raised funds for operation and performed many activities, most of those are HIV awareness activities and some are intended to build capacity of members.
In December, 2008, Staying Alive Foundation supported an one-year project grant to SCVG. SCVG is currently affiliated to Save the Children.

This website is created for making people around the world aware that
young people in a developing country are still capable and trying to solve the striking issues themselves in resource-limited settings.

My project idea is to create a “Youth for Community” project. Briefly,it is to recruit potential socially committed youths living there andto empower them to be able to start their own community developmentaction plans which will be supported technically and financially by theproject at first and we will phase out when they become powerful tostand on own feet.
